New England cries for ASP Dennis Musa Taylor

Some people of the New England community have openly expressed their dissatisfaction over the transfer of the Officer Commanding the New England Ville Police Station, Assistant Superintendent of Police, (ASP) Dennis Musa Taylor to serve as Support Officer at the A Divisional Headquarters, Central Police Station in central Freetown.

According to them, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Francis Alieu Munu, should have upgraded the Station to a Divisional Headquarter and promoted ASP Dennis Musa Taylor to Superintendent of Police rather instead of transferring him to another Station.

They added that ASP Taylor as very nice, strict, firm, focused, dedicated to duty, loyal, kind and results-oriented, whose kind they say they do not believe they will get.

When contacted to make a comment, ASP Dennis Musa Taylor said the people of New England Ville should  take heart as his job is one in which personnel get transferred all the time.

He maintained that his new appointment is very senior to his previous one at New England Ville Police Station.

According to him, the A Division is also supervising the New England Police Station and that he would be visiting them from time to time.
