Political Affairs Minister to make peace between Taiwo Cullen and Hon. Fofie

Latest reports reaching this press have indicated that the Minister of Political and Public Affairs, Hon. Kemoh Sesay (in photo), will resolve the impasse between Mr. Taiwo Cullen, Director of 96.2 FM and Hon. Amadu Fofanah aka Hon. Fofie of Constituency 109

The reports also state that Hon. Kemoh Sesay and Hon. Fofie will be visiting Mr. Taiwo Cullen at his residence to ascertain the extent of the damages done to his house at Sumalia Town.

Eye witness reports state that Hon. Fofie and Mr. Taiwo Cullen met on Wednesday afternoon at the Ministry of Political and Public Affairs to chart the way forward in terms of reconciling both parties.

At the meeting Mr. Taiwo Cullen noted that all he wanted was for his house to be repaired the way it was before and the perpetrators who damaged this house punished by the law.

On the part of Hon. Amadu Fofanah, he pointed out that he was innocent as on the day of the incident he was in Parliament and has long since condemned the act of his constituents as he would not condone lawlessness.

He pleaded with Mr. Taiwo Cullen to give peace a chance by allowing the other parcel of land to be used by the community people as they want to enact a health center and a community centre there.

According to Hon. Fofie, he would not do anything to bring down his reputation which he said he has worked hard for over the years.

He warned Mr. Taiwo Cullen and his brother to stop the blackmail over their radio station, if not he would institute legal action against them.

He stated that he hated to quarrel with his constituents but stressed that he must be given respect the way he respects Mr. Cullen and his brother.

He maintained that he is not a violent person but that bad people are bent on trying to destroy.

He concluded that as long as it is for the good of the people he will continue to defend his people who voted for him, stressing in tears, that posterity will be his judge.
