Angelique International hands over water treatment plant to Guma Valley Water Company
The Angelique International Limited on Wednesday, December 4 this year, handed over a water treatment plant to the people of the Upper Allen Town community on the eastern outskirts of Freetown.
Handing over the keys of the plant to the Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Hon. Randolf Foday Bayoh, the Project Manager of Angelique International, Mr. A. K. Singh, maintained that his company has done a wonderful job for the people of Allen Town community in record time.
He thanked President Ernest Bai Koroma for having the people at heart.
He pleaded with the people to take good care of the water treatment facilities in order for it to last for generations yet unborn.
In his comments, Chief Pa Komrabia Tarawally of Allen Town stated that he was glad to welcome everybody to Allen Town especially the Indian team of Angelique International for having done a good work for them.
He observed that Allen Town is a deprived community which needed a lot of support. He praised President Koroma for the good work he is doing for the people of this country.
The Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Morie Momoh encouraged the people of Allen town to protect the plant as it is their property.
In his remarks, Mr. I. A. Amand, the Country Manager of Angelique International said he was pleased to note that the people of Allen town appreciated them.
In his statement the General Manager of Guma Valley Water Company Mr. Mansaray told the people that they will have to pay for the water.
He appealed to them to protect the water plant and the twenty nine standing pipes as they belong to them.
