Giant Ministers wage war against poverty
Reports reaching this reporter state that the Ministers of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security and Trade and Industry, Dr. Joseph Sam Sesay and Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara respectively have vowed to wage war against poverty in the country.
According to our source who is close to the two Ministers, she stated that the two hardworking Ministers are restlessly busy designing strategies to engage the people to produce products for commercial purposes which, he said, will give young people jobs and make them self-reliant.
She also explained that Dr. Joseph Sam Sesay has assured the people of this country that his Ministry can better achieve massive production and commercialization of local food products by closely working with the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
In an interview with the Dr. Joseph Sam Sesay, he said that the interest of the people of Sierra Leone is primary which he said keeps him sleepless and restless to find ways to address the needs of the people of this country.
“One of my best friends in the political arena, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara has agreed to work with me together with the traders to make local agricultural products sufficient and affordable at the markets,” he explained.
On his part Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara assured this reporter that his Ministry will encourage all traders to become fully involved in the commercialization of agricultural products to reduce hunger and poverty in the country.
