Former Constituency 105 Parliamentarian donates to gun-shot victim
Following the recent riot between the Police and the Ansarul pupils at Kissy which resulted in the shooting of the leg of fifteen year old Mariatu Nas Candrie, a Junior Secondary School III pupil of the Government Municipal Secondary School at Kissy of Freetown, this paper has been informed that the former Member of Parliament of Constituency 105, Hon. Nauru Deen recently visited her at her residence at Peace Market, Ferry Junction where he donated a bag of rice, assorted provisions and the sum of Le200,000, with the promise that he will continue to visit her from time to time.
In a related development, the parents of Mariatu, Alhaji Bashiru Nas Candrie and Madam Fatmara Kabia have expressed thanks and appreciation to the management, Doctors and Nurses and support staff of the Emergency Hospital at Goderich for the free medical treatment that they gave to their daughter.
