“We will clinch the COFA Cup” Albert G. Lavey boasts

Team Manager and ex-Headman of Adonkia village, Mr. Albert G. Lavey has told Sierra Express Media Sports that Adonkia FC are very strong, tactical, technical and talented enough to clinch the much trumpeted Central One Football Association (COFA) trophy.

The dynamic manager and politician maintained that his team is improving match by match.

He stressed that he is very optimistic that this time round, the COFA giant trophy will be taken to the peninsular community people are desperately awaiting the 2013-14 championship trophy.

Adonkia has played two matches so far and in the opener on Wednesday, October 2,  they lost 2-1 to Congo Cross FC while in their second encounter against their nearest rival, Peninsular FC, they won 1-0. Their third match will be played on December 21 against Mountain City FC.

Adonkia, Congo Cross and Mountain City occupy top positions with three points each after playing two matches.
