Former Police Boss dupes 85 year widow
Latest reports reaching this press state that former Police Superintendent Body Conteh is alleged to have defrauded 85 year old widow, Ya Adama Mansaray of 10 Campbell Lane, Savage Square, in the Fourah Bay community of her house and money.
Speaking to this medium in pain and tears, Ya Adama Mansaray explained that when she lost her husband, Pa Alhaji Abu Bai Turay, two years ago, she handed over her house document to her late husband’s brother, Body Conteh in the belief that he will protect her and seek her interest.
She stated that very soon she noticed that all her 28 tenants were now paying rent to retired Superintendent Body Conteh and that out of the Le13 million he collected for one year he only gave the paltry sum of Le650,000.
She also started that Mr. Boby Conteh instead of cooperating with her, allegedly connived with the eldest daughter of her late husband to convert the property to her name.
When this Reporter contacted Mr. Body Conteh to get his own side of the story, he said he was not going to explain anything but that we should ahead and publish whatever we want, adding that if we ask him any question he will be very rude to us.
Meanwhile, humanitarian friends and the media have already taken legal action on behalf of Ya Adama Mansaray to make sure that Mr. Body Conteh returns all the money he collected as rent as well as the house document still in his possession.
