Freetown Golf Club to host $25,000 tourney
The Executive Committee of the Freetown Golf Club will organize the 2013 Golf Open Tournament which will include both local and international golfers across the globe from November 26 to December 1 this year at the Freetown Golf Club, Lumley Beach, west of Freetown, this paper has been informed.
According to the General Manager of the Freetown Golf Club, Mr. Alpha M. Bah, they are on top of situation.
He said the tournament was going to be unique and winners will share amongst themselves the sum of $25,000.
He appealed to companies and institutions to sponsor the tournament in the spirit of the Agenda for prosperity.
He revealed that golfers from Sierra Leone and other parts of Africa, Asia, Europe and America will take part in the competition.
He called on all their numerous fans to turn out in their great numbers to witness the tournament.
