Her appointment to a FIFA standing committee was preceeded by ealier appointments this week as the African Representative for  Football is More a social Football Foundation  and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a member of the Club Liscening Committee.

These appointments by FIFA are confirmation of the associations commitment to the promotion and development of women’s football and a fulfillment of pledges made to support women’s football financially and to give women players, coaches, referees and officials the opportunity to become actively involved in football.

FIFA is helping to popularise the game by increasing public awareness and conducting information campaigns as well as overcoming social and cultural obstacles for women with the ultimate aim of improving women’s standing in society.
