In Sierra Leone, Mohamed Kallon and Muse Pele head new FA
As Normalisation Committee and FIFA impose wrong Pa o pa FA President, Mohamed Kallon and Muse Pele head new FA
As the Normalization Committee headed by Mr. Alie Fornah, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Secretariat and Federation of International Football (FIFA) finally completed their dubious daylight mission on Saturday, August 3 by imposing Mrs. Isha Johansen as the SLFA President, 33 delegates who slept at Mr. Mohamed Kallon’s residence a day before the election said they were shocked when they heard that the Normalization Committee and the SLFA Secretariat had recruited other delegates at the hall on their behalf to vote for Mrs. Isha Johansen (in photo).
Stakeholders believed to be supporters of Mr. Rodney Michael and Mr. Mohamed Kallon were provoked, embarrassed or asked leave the hall, it has further emerged.
It has been further revealed that the 27 delegates who voted for Mrs. Isha Johansen were illegal delegates as their names were not on the delegates list.
News reaching SEM Sports now indicates that immediately after the election, the 33 delegates at Mr. Kallon’s house and several heavyweight football stakeholders met and formed a new football association called, the Independent Football Association (IFA).
The reports further stated that Mr. Mohamed Kallon was appointed as the Chairman of the association while Miss Musu Bangura popularly known as Musu Pele was appointed as his deputy.
In an exclusive interview with senior officials of the new association, they maintained that Mrs. Isha Johansen was unfairly elected and they will boycott any decision from her as they have their own Association headed by competent individuals.
“This is just the beginning of the battle as we will fight our righteous cause until justice is done,” Mr. Kallon vowed.

This is why we are not going to progress these internecine wars. What for just to say we disagree so in the face of an international ban we are prepared to go it alone, just to say the new association will ultimately overturn the FIFA approved candidate and all is fine. Give up this fighting it will only leave the sport in Sierra Leone wounded and isolated. We must learn to accept the fact that it is better sometimes not to upset the status Quo, the show must go on. Give peace a chance accept the election as it is and do not let the world see us again at it in another sphere. What was the lessons we learnt from the reconciliation after the rebel war. Sierra Leone should be the one country where the world should see visible evidences that humans can unite to progress. If eveey FA in the world will copy our modes of behavior there will be no football game, instead there will be battle royals every match day. What would you do if you are sacked as a manager – I guess you will still turn up with an alternative team to supplant.
