21 JP Anderson Stock Brokers Graduate in Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone’s first internationally recognized qualified Stock Brokers have graduated at the Sam Bangura Building during a well attended and impressive ceremony on the 3rd July, 2013, graced by several top dignitaries including the Deputy Bank Governor of Sierra Leone, Andrina R. Coker who distributed the certificates to the 21 graduates.
The 21 graduates went through a rigorous training organized by the Bank of Sierra Leone and facilitated by internationally recognized financial experts.
In his welcome statement, the Head of Sierra Leone Stock Exchange (SLSE), Gibril Sesay, noted that capital market plays a vital role in economic growth and sustenance, adding that the SLSE is working closely with the central bank to ensure smooth running of the country’s stock market.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JP Anderson, James Price, expressed his company’s determination to introduce Sierra Leone’s Stock Exchange to the world. He described Sierra Leone as a handsome hero and emerging market that deserves massive investment. James Price referred to JP Anderson as a new process aimed at broadening Sierra Leone’s investment scope, thereby creating more jobs and, consequently, bringing more prosperity to the people of this country, in line with government’s Agenda for Prosperity.
James Price urged the graduates to allow their hearts to guide them to do the right thing to make Sierra Leone a prosperous country, describing them as trained and licensed Stock Brokers and Financial Advisors charged with the sacred responsibility to market their country’s investment potential to the world.
