Partnering with Easy Solar…Afrimoney Eases Access to Energy for Subscribers

One of Sierra Leone mobile telecoms, Africell SL, On Wednesday 17th August 2022 at its Head Quarters Wilberforce, Afrimoney partnering with easy solar for customers to get quick and easy access to Energy.

Easy Solar has been in Sierra Leone for a while and has been playing great role by helping the lives of Sierra Leoneans to get access to light and

During the program an opening statement by Theresa Jane Wright who’s the Marketing Supervisor of Afrimoney said that, they are very excited to have easy solar to partner with them.

She further that this venture seems to improve every single life of all Sierra Leoneans and they are grateful to be part of this journey.

Nlhabiseng Mosia who is the Chief Commercial Officer and Co-founder, said At easy solar they believe that access to light is there priority and that their vision is to make sure that every Sierra Leoneans have access to light.

She continued that as of 2020 to now, they installed more than 8,000 Easy Solar lights across the country, and that today they are partnering with Afrimoney for people to get easy access to light.

She further that this is a platform which will help by paying part payment depending on how u want it or what u want.

As of presently easy Solar has been in all district of Sierra Leone and most villages as well. And also as of date they have more than 20 shops across country, a banking access to pay ur bill and more.

So as today, it is indeed a great partnership with Afrimoney and that they hope to work more in hand together, so that all Sierra Leoneans will have easy access to light.

Joe Abass Bangura Chief Cooperate Affairs Officer for Africell, in his statement, he highlighted some of the things and ways on how Sierra Leoneans use to live to get access to light without air born, through by burning woods at night, tires and more.

He further that they are more than happy to work with easy solar as what they’d just enhanced the general access to get the solar through different ways of payment flexibility.

Joe Abass continued that in addition to this, customers will get a 10 percent of what they pay for their solar, which will go back to their Afrimoney account.

And that since launching Afrimoney in 2014 Afrimoney have been improving and helping it customers and Sierra Leoneans to get easy ways to pay different fees without moving from bank to bank or from one place to another and that they will continue to work with all banks around the country and also expanding their network through Sierra Leone and as well as improve in digital systems.

He further that they don’t need hard cash, as they want everything to be more on digital systems by paying ur bills through Afrimoney.

Joe Abass concludes by thanking easy solar for partnering with them and that they will do all possible means to work with them and create ways for all Sierra Leoneans to have access to light.
