Woman Timap Storms Mile 91
Over three thousand women in Mile 91, Tonkolili District, are reported to have declared support for and joined an organization called Woman Timap which visited the town past Friday.
Eyewitness report states that the three thousand women gave a red-carpet welcome to the organization. The welcome was said to have been characterized by drumming, dancing and feasting.
Woman Timap is one of the organizations that is championing President Koroma’s proposed third term in office.
The president of Woman Timap who is the Deputy Mayor of Freetown City Council, Mary Jaiah, told Sierra Express Media that she was dumbfounded by the mammoth crowd that poured out to welcome the organization which also played a pivotal role to resolve the constituency 62 parliamentary bye-election impasse which was about to crumble the party in that constituency.
Madam Jaiah maintained that very soon, Woman Timap will be visiting all the districts in the country to launch President Koroma’s third term campaign.
