No Justice for Brutalized Indian

The Moyamba police are reported to have still not charged to court the released suspects in the case of an Indian Investor, Herold Harry Dominic who was recently beaten and injured and his domicile vandalized in Tisana by rampaging assailants purporting to be Poro men. Also, the attackers were reportedly demanding the head of a lady called Sophia who was living with the brutalized Indian.

Reports further reveal that the three suspects, a Mines Warden, Mr. Feika, the Section Chief of Tasso, Kain Mammah and Issa Mansaray were released via the intervention of some dignitaries but that they have still not been charged to court for unknown reasons even though they were caught assaulting the Indian and vandalizing his residence.

The three assailants are reported to be spearheading the rampant illicit Zircon sand mining now destroying Tisana and Mobureh in Moyamba District.

Concerned Sierra Leoneans are calling on the police to play fair in the case of the beaten Indian investor so that other investors will not be scared away. They recalled that recently, the Kenema Police boss connived with a notorious criminal called Mohamed Bakui to illegally detain and defraud another Indian Investor called Mr. Malik, further recalling that the same Kenema Police and immigration, using terror tactics, extorted four hundred US Dollars from a Swiss tourist, Mr. Sharti.
