Parliament Approves Three Nominees
Parliament on Friday, June 14, approved three presidential nominees, Leonard Balogun Koroma as Minister of Transport and Aviation, Sahr Kpulun as Board Member of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) and Lahai Momoh Farma as Board Member of SLCAA.
The Majority Leader in parliament, Honourable Sheku Dumbuya urged the approved nominees to perform to the best of their ability for the development of Sierra Leone.
The Minority Leader in parliament, Honourable Bernadette Lahai, called on the newly-approved Minister of Transport and Aviation to consider the transportation problem plaguing the students of Fourah Bay College students.
In an exclusive interview with Sierra Express shortly after his approval, the new Minister of Transport and Aviation registered his determination to facelift the Lungi International Airport which he described as the gateway to the outside world.
