Wilberforce Strikers to engage Kandeh Rovers in grand finale
Wilberforce Strikers will engage Kandeh Rovers FC this weekend on Sunday May 5th at the Grassfield playing field in a fascinating grand finale at 4.30 p.m.. Both teams were impressive throughout the competition reaching to the final 90 minutes to decide the champions in the big league soccer tournament, 2013.
In the quarter finals, Kandeh Rovers FC defeated Farmer Lane and also eliminated Harry Lacs FC 2-1 to reach the final.
Wilberforce Strikers defeated Long Bench FC 3-1 in the quarter finals and also beat Spurs FC 5-4 on post penalties after ninety minutes goalless draw.
The organizing secretary of Lumley Welfare Committee, Peter Boborneh told this press that all modalities have been put in place for the grand finale and there are attractive prizes to be grabbed by clubs and individual players.
