Police Officer stabs and kills carpenter over food in Sierra Leone
Police Officer, Joseph Jonathan Decker, is reported to have stabbed a carpenter, Jonathan Isaac Lamin Kamara of no. 1c Sumaila Town, Freetown. The stabbed carpenter later died.
The unfortunate incident is said to have taken place on Monday, April 8th at the PWD area by Pademba Road where Joseph Jonathan Decker, who resides at No.13a Sulter Street, Freetown and attached to the Ross Road Police Station, reportedly premeditatively stabbed the deceased during a quarrel which erupted between the stabber and the deceased over food served at the funeral ceremony of their colleague, Junior, alias Omolankay.

The deceased is said to have been conveyed to Connaught Hospital Mortuary while the perpetrator is reported to have been apprehended and dragged to the headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department in Freetown.
