Kandeh Rovers Hammer Long Bench
It was a shocking defeat on Sunday 17th March when Kandeh Rovers FC humiliated Long Bench FC 4-0 at Lumley Grassfield.
Both clubs commenced the gala with beautiful passing, and decent ball display until Kandeh Rovers FC midfielder Salifu Samura opened the score sheet in the 21st minute due to a defensive blunder.
Kandeh Rover FC striker Barrie scored a second goal before the break bringing the score to 2-0.
Long Bench FC was desperate for goals in the second half but they were not strong enough to withstand the might of Kandeh Rovers’ defense.
Kandeh Rovers FC second half substitute, Ishameal Sesay aka Figo made it 3-0 mid second half inside the penalty box area, and in the dying minute Barrie scored his brace to give his team a comfortable 4-0 victory.
In today’s match Real Friend will engage Jet FC in a tough encounter.
Talking to the chairman of Lumley welfare committee, Adams Arch, he said the kick-off was jammed-packed and there was enough security presence in the field.
