High Fees Aggrieve Nursing Students in Sierra Leone

Disgruntled students of the National School of Nursing have categorically condemned the skyrocketing tuition and graduation fees they now pay in the school in Freetown.

In a recent interview with this reporter, one of the aggrieved students, Mohamed Bangura, informed that the tuition fees has been catapulted from Le1.3 million to Le3.5 million, an increase which he said has not gone down well with the entire student body.

Mr. Bangura also raised concern over the excessive fees charged for graduation. He called on government to prevail on the school management to revisit the inflated fees considering the economic situation in the country and the fact that this nation is in dire need of more nurses.
