As President Koroma champions development, road construction remains a priority in Sierra Leone

As President Koroma champions the Agenda for Prosperity, road construction and development are key priorities for nation building.

The ongoing construction of the Hillside bye-pass road is critical to the expansion of economic activities in the capital.

In this road construction business one company that has been making an impact at national level is Company Saheline D’Enterprise (CSE) Construction Company.  It is often referred to as the African giant in road construction in the sub-region.  The Senegalese construction company CSE is headed by Mr. Amadu Guy.

Speaking to this medium, Mr. Amadu Guy said they have been engaged in road construction since the early 1960s and 1970 to date and highlighted some of the roads they have constructed since that period. These included Kambia Road, the cross border road between Gbalamuya to Guinea Pamlap, Goderich Road, the PWD Junction onto Portee in Wellington, Caulker Street, also in Wellington and the Makeni-Kabala Road which is under construction.

Mr. Amadu Guy said CSE do not blow their own horn in terms of skill and expertise but assured this press that Sierra Leoneans will prove them right.

Speaking to this press, Ibrahim Bangura, a driver with over ten years of working experience commended CSE for their skills and expertise in road construction, adding that for professionalism in road construction, CSE is the best.
