Big heads to roll at NPA in Sierra Leone as infighting continues

According to sources, the issue of corruption is becoming the order of the day as authorities are said to be bragging of each others political connections.
The new Commercial Manager of NPA, Mr. Harold McCarthy is said to be making frantic efforts to stamp out many of the clandestine activities that are almost bringing the institution to its knees.
According to sources, the Deputy Manager, Mr. Zubairu Ahmed Kalokah is a hard working manager but he is yielding to lots of gossip from workers.
Sources further pointed out that in the area of promotions or appointments; it is one of bias and nepotism as only those with connections and not necessarily with skills or training are recognized.
Further sources disclosed that the Deputy Manager, Dennis Grey, who is currently on leave, is a facing serious case of misappropriation and professional misconduct but the matter has died down naturally without management decision.
Sources also claim that Mr. Harold McCarthy is to replace Mr. Ajayie Wilson Taylor in one department while two female staff are at each other’s throat over who is to occupy the office previously occupied by Mr. Ajayie Wilson Taylor.
When contacted, NPA’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Victor Wilson Clarke said the matter is all about management to take the right decision.
