Makeni Blind Soccer Team to engage Freetonians Counterpart
Football fans across the Western Area are eager to witness the much trumpeted football match between the Blind Football Team from Makeni versus their Western Area Counterpart on Friday 30th November 2012 at the Parade Playing Field.
According to the Public Relations Officer, who doubles as the attacking midfielder for the Western Area squad, Kandeh Kargbo, the match will be a six aside encounter and therefore urges football loving fans to go in their thousands to watch what is going to be a fascinating match, adding that “we want to show others the abilities of the blind as it is going to be a fund raising effort.
The chairman, Mohamed Kabba appealed to Friends View Restaurant, Office Night Club, African Minerals, UBA, SKYY, Access Bank, National Petroleum Company, Kings Electrical, Saham Pharmacy and several others who have formally been requested to sponsor them in order to have a successful and colourful match.
The match will commence at 3:00 p.m. and the entrance fee is Le2,000
