Bombshell at Newton Police Station
Reports reaching this press are alleging that the Newton Police Division Operation Commander Abdul Sesay is under fire and pressure for conniving with the Director of Agriculture Mrs. Fabian Fofanah in converting official two XL motor bikes for their own personal use.
According to sources and supporting document in possession with this press, the Operation Commander OC in charge of the Newton Police Post, Sgt Abdul Sesay is in league with the said Director in illegally purchasing the said motor bikes, which is under investigation at the Newton Police Post.
Sources revealed furthered that the OC in charge of operation was investigating official XL motor bikes that were supplied to one Mr. Moses A.S Bangura who happened to be an extension worker in the Agriculture Ministry.
Sources further allege that despite documentation that was displayed to Newton Police Post on the legality and claim of ownership of the said XL motor bikes, the OC Sgt Abdul Sesay went ahead to pay the sum of Le 300,000,00 as part payment for the XL motor bikes under investigation.
It is also revealed according to Sources that OC Sgt Abdul Sesay instructed Constable 13206 PC Bangura of the Newton Police Post to hand over the XL with registration #engine: 156 FM 180XL part 125 October 24 this year at 13:45 pm Newton Police Post.
Meanwhile Mr. Moses A.S Bangura noted to have consulted his lawyer A.R Serry Kamal for further action on this investigation.
Contacting the OC Newton Police Post Abdul Sesay, he denied the allegation, but accepted to have paid the sum of Le300,000,00, and promised to go the extra mile to collect the said bikes.
