Journalist Killer in Court
Tunde Wilson on Friday November 9 this year appeared before magistrate Komba Kamanda at the Freetown Magistrate Court No 2 on one count charge of murder.
Tunde who is currently residing at the Grafton community in Freetown, under present judicial district of the Republic of Sierra Leone is presently standing trial for allegedly murdering a reporter working for The Exclusive newspaper, namely Josiah Ibrahim Foday. It was revealed that the accused on July 2011 stabbed the deceased Ibrahim Foday in his stomach. In a mad rush to the to the Grafton Hospital the deceased lost his life.
The accused is said to have been on the run ever since the incident, but according to police report he was arrested at the Magburaka village in the Bombali District whilst rallying with a political party.
