All the 17 players including living legend Mohamed Kallon and skipper Ibrahim ‘Obrey’ Kargbo participated in the training commanded by Coach Lars Olof Mattsson and his two backroom staff members Lennert Andersson and Johnny Murray.
The team departed for the match venue, Monastir a few hours after the training without four foreign based players who were due to arrive in Tunis on Wednesday night.
The players are Julius Gibrilla Woobay who is based in Azerbaijan, Turkey based Ibrahim Teteh Bangura and the Sweden based duo of Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura and Ibrahim ‘Marcel’ Koroma.
The Assistant Director of Sports Alphan Coker who was one of the fore-runners was left behind to pick up the players from the Carthage airport and travel with them to Monastir to join the rest of the squad.
