As Ernest Cuddles Sam for 2nd Term… Jealous Minister Undermines Agenda for Prosperity
As the much trumpeted naming of President Ernest Bai Koroma’s running mate shuts down, news emanating from various locations across the country suggests that the aggrieved Minister of Internal Affairs, Musa Satie Tarawally (in photo) has sworn to undermine the Agenda for Prosperity.
Recalling a few months ago when the anxiety of who will become the running mate to the president heated up, rumors of several names made rounds within and around the country. One that was conspicuous among a host of others that were ready to oust the substantive Vice President Sam-Sumana was that of Musa Tarawally.
As if he was envious of the VP’s position, Tarawally went haywire reeking scores of violent havoc on anything that had bearing with the name Sam-Sumana. Months ago, Tarawally traveled to Kono with malevolent youths in the guise of attending the funeral rite of the late Mrs.Konomanyi, knowing fully well that VP Sam-Sumana was also going to be in attendance. These sponsored youths wielded lethal objects and were clad in T-shirts with the inscription ‘Support Musa Tarawally for Vice Presidency.’ It latter ended in an unprecedented skirmish.
During this period the name Musa Tarawally was synonymous to the stench of a week old dead rat. He was parading the length and breath of this country pretending that he was the blue eyed boy of President Koroma, less bothering about the thick clouds of the Shears-Moses Commission of Inquiry recommendations hanging over him.
Musa still wanders about perpetuating violence while mixing and messing the process of the award of APC symbol. Remember? This press warned President Koroma to beware of Musa Tarawally as Tarawally is painting a bad image of a president the commands love and respect from his people.
Now that President Koroma has named his choice in Sam-Sumana for obvious reasons Tarawally’s hopes are dashed, and he has resorted to a renewed campaign of avenge to undermine the president’s quest to bring prosperity to the people of this nation.
While congratulating V.P Sam-Sumana on his victory we also urge Minister Tarawally to spare us the rod of vengeance and avenge.
