Sierra Leone Football is a time bomb

Sierra Leone football is currently a time bomb which will explode anytime this month after the FIFA Executive Committee’s final decision.  The key players will be held responsible for any consequences this country will suffer from FIFA’s decision.

It’s no secret that the former FA President Nahim Khadi, Minister of Youth, Employment and Sports Paul Kamara, and several ex-football administrators hiding underground are the brains behind what we are going through today as a football family.

They are responsible because they have already involved political interference into the game, including racial discrimination, past grudges, incitement, propaganda, and above all forcing unwanted aspirants on the delegates at all cost which is not good for the smooth running of football in the country.

The continued postponements of the congress have developed bad blood which led to the embarrassment of FIFA official, Primo Covaro over the weekend at the football Academy Kingtom.

On September 24th,  FIFA Members Association Committee will meet in Zurich and come out with their findings about Sierra Leone’s football crisis – 28th September will be judgement day for our country’s football!

Will FIFA accept the Minister’s Normalization Committee to operate till election is held, which is political interference, or will they listen to the voice of the delegates who have the power to decide as they are the parliament of football?

Will FIFA listen to the decision taken by the electoral committee and the appeals committee which is endorsed by the delegates, or will FIFA take a decision which will bring anarchy that will plunge the football family into campism?
