No slim confidence in politics
The trends of things in the political arena are always changing order, which makes it a reality that no candidate would have to win an election triumphing on a mouthing contest. This equally means that neither politicians’ vile attacks on issues of reality nor their sugar coated vibes are enough to win them votes or better still secure them a much needed victory. What the reality is for politicians to keep heads down and look what reflections their works have impacted on the masses they so professed ruling. There is a mismatch in the politics of this country which is the narrowing the reality perspective on issues affecting the well-being of people in the land. Politicians have always mistaken the corporate needs of the masses from their concrete needs; and such reactionary tendencies tell the unpopularity of a system and such has been the strongest force of change in the changing agents.
As people who have been following major news events in the past, we’ve witnessed change of systems in trends of governance and have been chronicling regime shortfalls; one such factor culminating in that is the make up of deaf years and turning blind eyes to pleas and suffering of the masses. They are the voters and are the electors. In a government where democracy is in common practice, power belongs to the people; and no amount of grammar convinces the masses than doing what affects them.
Every government should be in the position to know that food security forms part of a solution in answering the problems of the masses of the land. If a government should be talking about tractorization and there is no affordable food on the market they won’t appreciate the other level of development even if they are real. The lesson should be learnt how successive governments were made to quit power. The SLPP was an example of such who when the masses were crying on empty stomachs all they resort in doing was throwing feeds on the floor. The slightest of mistakes they did also was their language of address to the people referring them as sycophants. One thing that is real is the fact that no vote is sycophant.
In politics the vote cast of an illiterate man is equal the vote cast of an educated person, which if number is considered is best that earns a candidate a wining. The word of caution here is politicians should not be in a contest to win popularity on debate wise, they should rather work the minds to conviction that they are serve the questing needs of the masses –only then would they ward satisfied without nursing headaches doing enough of canvassing, cajoling and debating.
