FC Tolo Wins Bai Kabba U-14 Trophy
FC Tolo on Sunday 29th July defeated Vino FC 4-2 on penalties to lift the Bai Kabba U-14 Trophy at the Lakka playing field.
The match was jam-packed and each team’s performance was outstanding throughout the 1st half.
Both sides resumed the 2nd half playing attacking football, with accurate possession in what looked like an enticing game even though the match ended goalless. FC Tolo won 4-2 on post penalty kicks.
Speaking to the coach of the newly crowned champions, coach – Osman Tolo Turay, he said he is delighted with the performance of his boys and for clinching the prestigious trophy. The champions bagged the sum of Le200,000, pins, and certificate; the runners-up won the sum of Le 150,000 with certificates.
Handing over prizes to various winners, the sponsor, Bai Kabia thanked all who in diverse ways helped promote the U-14 competition, including all ten participating teams.
Dignitaries present at the grand final were Mustapha Bello, Lakka Headman-Teddy Marcauley, Football Administrator-Pa Lamin Dumbuya and many others.
