Prince Duwai donated to two Salone athletes
Former athlete of Sierra Leone, Prince Duwai, has donated sporting equipment to the two Sierra Leonean athletes Ola Sesay, and Ibrahim Turay a few days ahead of their event in this year’s 2012 London Olympic Games. (Photo Prince Duwai with some members of Sierra Leone delegation)
Prince Duwai who competed for the country in the 400 meters internationally said that he is doing such donation as his own contribution towards the athletes.
He also stated that for Ibrahim Turay the games are going to be an experience for him and he will learn from Ola Sesay, who has been to bigger games, and he hope that the two athletes will have a very good day so that they will be able to spring surprises in the world.
Ola Sesay who received the sporting equipment on behalf of Ibrahim Turay and herself, said she is very happy for the equipment which comprised of training vests and a host of other items.
The NOC President Henry G Moore said that he is very grateful for the donation as he knows that things are not easy but you Prince Duwai thinking to make sure donating to the athletes’ means a lot to them.
