Golden Stars put up an impressive performance against home team Sangafullay to win the grand finale of the boys’ category 3-0 and in the girls’ section Bintumani Queens defeated Nimikoro Queens of Kono 4-2 on penalties after goalless at full time in a jam packed field decorated with Airtel colourful red and white colours.

The Tonkolili side completely dominated their match from all angles of the field and were undoubtedly deserved winners. Prince Solo Marah opened the scores in the 15 minutes when he headed home from the box a cross from the left.

Striker Gibrilla Kamara got the second and third in the second half. He dribbled in to the box and release a thunderous shot in to the net before finishing up a nice build-up from the midfield to register his second goal of the tournament making him the competition’s highest goal scorer in the boys category.

Sangafullay were drafted in to play in the final as replacement for another side from Kono Professional FC who were disqualified for using over age players.
