Sister Stabs Brother to Death
Rebecca Conteh a resident of No 29 Thunder Hill Road on Wednesday 4th July was in a bitter brawl and stabbed her elder brother Lansana Conteh to death.
Speaking to the accused person Rebecca Conteh in an interview with Sierra Express Media, she revealed that the incident occurred at around 1:30 early in the morning hours when she the (accused) beat the five year old son of her elder brother Lansana the (deceased). She explained that when the news broke to her elder brother he decided to question her.
She explained further that this discussion resulted into a feud as her brother became more furious in the heat of the argument and lost his temper and started beating her up. She stated further as the saga continued one of their neighbors by the name of Ezekiel try to stop them as it appeared that the fighting was getting uncontrollable.
The accused maintained that when it appeared that the deceased would not stop beating her up she took-up a knife which in her defense she said was used in stabbing the deceased her (brother) in the chest which resulted into his death.
According to police post-mortem report, it is revealed that the deceased died out of profuse internal bleeding. According to Sergeant Turay of the Kissy Police Division, he explained to our reporter that the case is pending investigation and will soon be filed to the law court for trial.
