Wives Inaugurate IG’s Wife
The Association of Police Wives in collaboration with Wives of other Armed Forces on Saturday May 26th marched triumphantly to inaugurate Mrs. Mariama Munu, wife of the Inspector General of the Sierra Leone Police Force Francis Alieu Munu as their new Chairlady.
The ceremony took placed at the National Stadium Main Bowl where she was honored. Addressing her fellow associates, Mrs. Munu praised her predecessor Mrs. Kamara having demonstrated good leadership virtuous in her entire tenure of office. She promised to use her new position wisely and articulately to salvage the needs and plights of the Association to the best of her abilities.
She said she is aware of the serious challenges facing wives of the police are facing as her self has been with them from time over the years.
Some members of the association said they are happy at last to see Mrs. Mariama Munu occupy the chair seat as her credibility is unquestionable.
