Hindolo Trye: Industrial lawyers for employees

The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Hindolo Trye (in photo), in a press briefing told a battery of journalists that the problem between employers and employees will only be reduced when Labour Congress employs an industrial lawyer to look into the affairs of the employers and the employed.

Max Alie, a Veteran labour officer who has been serving in the capacity as a mediator, has not been able to discharge his duty effectively.

Hindolo Trye disclosed that the Ministry of Labour and Social Security has in its record 70 foreigners who were paying for their working permit at the cost of Le 10,000 which has now been increase in multiple folds to Le100,000 nationwide under his tenure of office. The Minister said he has also increased the cost of the work permits for foreigners from Le10,000 to Le100,000 which is ten times the former cost.
