Sahn-Malen chiefdom praises Socfin Company
Residents of Sahn-Malen Chiefdom, Pujehun District, have heaped praise on Socfin Agricultural Company for maintaining their Corporate Social Responsibilities in that chiefdom, and the country as a whole.
Speaking to Sierra Express Media via telephone, many residents of Sahn-Malen Chiefdom said the company is consistent with their social corporate responsibilities and have been paying their royalty dues in time.
They describe the Socfin Agricultural Company as a God sent company in the chiefdom, taking into cognizance the fact that the chiefdom has long been neglected by government and other Non-Governmental Organizations.
With the coming of Socfin Agricultural Company residents of Sahn-Malen Chiefdom are now breathing a sigh of relief as development is rapidly taking place in that part of the country. Scores of Sierra Leoneans are gaining employments under the company.
However, Sierra Express discovered that the healthcare facilities, roads infrastructure, quality of education, and livelihood of the people is now improving over what they had before.
The General Manager of Socfin, Mr. Jean Christophe Dienst, extended a hearty 51st Independence Anniversary Celebration to His Excellency, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma and Vice President, Chief Samuel Sam-Sumana, Parliamentarians, Ministers and the People of Sierra Leone. He expressed hope that the country will continue to flourish with blessings.
