Murder Suspect in Court
Mohamed Kamara Alias Monamie charged with a count of murder contrary to Law for allegedly killing Tommy N’doko on Sunday 1st April 2012, has made his third appearance before Magistrate Komba Kamanda of Court No 2.
According to Mohamed Kamara testifying in court, he revealed he saw Tommy N’doko at about 0200 am and went on to say he thought he was a thief. According to Patrick Bassy of 33A New London, Kossoh Town, Hasting Village who is the witness of the deceased, said Tommy was shouting that he was not a thief and that he came outside to use the toilet and was carrying a touch-light and water kettle.
The witness Patrick Bassy while testifying in court 23rd of April on behalf of the deceased person Tommy N’doko who was also his brother in law, revealed that he was at his house on that Sunday at about 0700 am when a group of people came to his door and asked him to come out of his room, which he did and was told that Tommy N’doko was lying dead at Mocarurk Street Hasting, he told the court that he immediately went to the scene and saw Tommy lying on the ground with blood all over his body and taking a closer look he noticed that Tommy’s right-hand and left-foot were brutally hacked and seriously wounded after being allegedly attacked by Mohamed Kamara of Hastings Village.
He went on to say that the victim Tommy was lying on his side in a pool of blood, so he called the police and the body was conveyed to the Connaught Hospital and subsequently announced dead.
