Police raid ghettos

The Kissy Police Division in the east of Freetown, headed by Chief Superintendent of police, Fayia Sellu has undertaken massive raids of ghettos within the Kissy community over the weekend.

The raids which were strictly handled by the operations wing of the Kissy Police Division targeted gray areas suspected to be hideouts for criminals. This operation was highly welcomed by the residents in Kissy as the drugs taking menace has been rife in that locality.

They fall in praise of the police boss, Fayia Sellu for what they said was a marvellous policing job he has done. The Kissy residents called on the Inspector General of police to empower the Local Unit Commander with more logistics with which the police can use to handle the security primacy of the area.
