Kissy All Stars vow to resist Blackpool today

Kissy All Stars who are currently 12th in the Sierra Leone Premier League will battle over supremacy with 13th place Mighty Blackpool in a later kickoff at 19:00 hrs at the National Stadium, in Freetown.

Both teams are having a poor start in this year’s Premier League campaign and are struggling to get off the relegation zone.

Kissy All Stars Master tactician, Raymond Samuel Lewis told Sierra Express sports that he is optimistic of victory this evening as he is desperate for today’s encounter to avoid relegation before the close of the first leg encounter.

Central Parade are having an early kickoff at 16:00 hrs playing against in form Old Edwardians at the National Stadium in Freetown and Central Parade’s striker, James Beattie said he hopes to increase his goals tally today against Old Edwardians.

On Wednesday, Old Edwardians were held to a goalless draw by Mighty Blackpool, Gem Stars held E.E. Lions to a 1-1 draw at the Tongo playing field and FC Johansen beats Freetown city FC by 1-0.

The chairman of Premier League Board, Mr. Victor Lewis told Sierra Express sports that they are playing two matches a day in order to fast track the first leg’s completion to get preparing for the second final leg stage of the competition as the rainy season is fast approaching.
