NaCSA raises concern
The Administrator and Logistics officer of the National Commission for Social Action (NACSA) Joseph Sesay has raised concerns over the attitude of some Sierra Leoneans who are in the habit of depositing garbage in front of their offices at Charlotte Street in Freetown.
He said the pile of garbage in front of their office makes it difficult for workers to access the office building entrance.
Mr Sesay stated Hughes Security company guards were on duty during the Easter Holidays and were unable to give a clear cut report as to how the garbage finds itself in front of their offices.
Sesay also said the office intends taking an administrative line of action on those security guards who were supposed to be on guard during the holiday vacation.
Asked how much NaCSA will be paying for clearing the garbage, Joseph Sesay said they cannot say as Clean Salone have insisted that they must see the quantity of garbage before they could tag a price to it.
He calls on the public to respect the offices of the National Commission for Social Action as they are serving very important a role in the development of the country.
