In His presence

We come boldly to the throne of reverence

In humble adoration of your power and omniscience

So great an entity; we adore your magnificence

With blissful hearts, for your love to us is without pretense.

The Heavens declare the glory and show forth your excellence

The earth shouts in praise to acknowledge your omnipotence

We are grateful for you are the only God of true providence

And without you, our lives are subjected to dire negligence.

We beseech you; your grace is sweeter than frankincense

And your loving kindness to us is a constant recurrence

Through the wilderness we bask under your confidence

Yes, you even delivered us from the noisome pestilence.

So accurately you molded us to be the highest sapiens

And gave our bodies to the Holy Spirit as residence

With your pulsating breath! Genesis 2:7 is not a mere sentence

Too awesome… your works are far beyond our intelligence.

Your word is truth. Bestowed to us as a satiable essence

Radiating both your image and spirit at equal incidence

Filling our lives with joy gyrating from a worthy reference

We are thankful and shout in praise of your eminence.

Creating us in your image was by no means a coincidence

For you are greater than creation, even bigger than existence

Our thanksgivings and praises are too little a recompense

For all the joy, peace and love we wrought in your presence.
