Usman Boie Kamara donates to fire victims

Former Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) flag bearer aspirant, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara has donated 200 bags of cement and five bundles of zinc to fire inferno victims of Constantine Magazine over the weekend. The incident left at least one person dead and swept away 97 makeshift shanties hosting over a 1,000 persons.

The raging fire was described as mysterious but some members of the community advanced explanations claiming that a candle was left alight which resulted in the fire outbreak.

Sulaiman Kamara, community chairman said the police have effected some arrest and investigations are ongoing to ascertain who were involved in the candle lightning saga to possibly bring them to book.
