Good news for our readers
Readers should begin to understand that democracy goes with a responsible citizen life or like our brothers are saying – patriotism. Politics time is here. We think we deserve the right to ask our leaders to account the issues they have for us in terms of governance, ruling style and state mechanics to apply when ruling a country called Sierra Leone.
Our editorial team is focusing a people’s fair right to know and understand what is happening or what our politicians have in parcel for us to show, having served us variously in both capacities of ruling as government of the day and as opposition who are now gearing towards reclaiming power in the upcoming elections.
So guess what –we’ve been asking those questions some of you would like to ask any of them if you should have the opportunity to meet them. Sierra Express stands with two legs here, and those iron legs being to pin the politicians with questions that make them give account on what they are doing, or they have done, or are about to do, or to be done for their democratic citizens.
At the same time our other leg being to relay, reveal or maybe expose what their deeds are. We are going to host two giants from the All People’s Congress and the opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party regarding their views and opinion as they would be speaking from the two view points of their political parties. Leonard Balugun Koroma, (Logus) the APC Coordinator for the 2012 elections and Hon. Musa Tamba Sam, the National Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party.
What we are aiming at in this debate is not to create any mischief rather; we are aiming at restoring the culture of making our leaders accountable. One watch word: we are not coordinating their opinion. They are individual Sierra Leoneans with responsible citizen lives. Many would see the need as we move ahead why these politicians should be given ears and attentive – ones. We have made it easier for your reading consumption as we will not bother you with a huge reading capacity. Our topics have all been set –the scintillating ones being on legacies and that means why the people should continue to keep these parties’ worth in high spirits of loyalty and support when others think they have really failed the country in the last fifty years of their governance style. Questions are coming from all spheres including political parties and the citizens.

Our price to offer the citizens of Sierra Leone is patriotism and servitude. Coming next in our edition is what the APC says in response to the SLPP’s critical view on their leader, President Koroma. One last note in the warning, letting the people know about your party and leader desires not invectives or snide remarks. What we mean here is that, we are simply encouraging the debaters to say factual things and not verbs that would insult others or their candidates. Saying the truth, remember simply does not mean one should be insulting, Lonta with the grand rule of the day, bye until we meet again!
