U-20 commences training session

The Sierra Leone U-20 National Team, the Shooting Stars commenced training on Monday at the Football Academy Kingtom in Freetown ahead of their encounter with Chad on April 21st  in a two-legged knock out competition. The Shooting Stars are playing away to Chad.

Speaking to the U-20, Coach, Alimamy Turay (in photo) popularly known as “K-Foot,” said 40 players have been selected across the country to train with the team until the end of next weekend.  He said the Technical Team comprises of him, Bobson Sesay, and Tamba Moses who are working hard to ensure that their final selection of a squad of twenty five would go out there to secure the vital three points for the country.

“The players are responding well in training as they are currently playing in the premier league competition. To us this is good for our preparations ahead of the away encounter”, Coach K-foot said.
