Usman Boie jets in today
Former flag-bearer aspirant of the opposition Sierra Leone People Party, Alhaji Usman Boie Kamara (UBK) jets in today to Freetown, Sierra Leone after spending a month away in the United Kingdom with his wife and family members.
News of his home arrival has generated momentum from all corners in the country and thus influenced his supporters to prepare a grand welcome home procession.
UBK’s reception will be lead by an outstanding women organization known as the Sierra Leone Market Women and Traders Development Foundation (FAMBUL) to be followed by close friends, family members and people who supported him during his running for the flagship contest. UBK will be accompanied from the Lungi International Airport to Ferry Terminal, processing through to the National Stadium’s car wash.
FAMBUL is one organization among the others in the country that has clearly demonstrated their love and support for Alhaji Usu Boie Kamara and they are going to form part of the entourage welcoming their icon and father they just crowned as their own.
UBK has been away from the country and many concerns have been raised about his hanging political future. He recently said his political career remains neutral. Following his loss of the flag bearer contest in July of last year his participation in active politics was withdrawn.
Many believe he is on the verge of leaving the SLPP to a destination many believe would be in the ruling All People’s Congress.
Usu Boie Kamara meanwhile remains silent on the issue!
