APC fights APC in Port Loko

The current political scenario in Port Loko is gaining momentum as Sierra Leoneans abroad came to pay homage to APC’s senior elders in Port Loko’s Central One Constituency 49.

Eleven aspirants have so far emerged, and four of them are female, including the incumbent, Hon. Isatu G. Koroma, and defected former PMDC aspirant, Haja Yapake Sankoh.

Six foreign based Sierra Leoneans and a young studious man in the person of Mohamed Kamara have all declared for the APC symbol. A source in Port Loko says Mohamed Kamara is a popular choice among the eleven.

This sets a big blow on the face of veteran politicians thought of having a plethora of influence, but it does not come as a surprise as they are currently locked in controversy.

The youthful population has meanwhile vowed to disappoint the APC in the November polls if the party fails to issue the symbol to Mohamed Kamara.
