Police arrest 15 criminals
The Police Operations Team of Kissy B Division made arrests of fifteen persons on Saturday, February 25, on various offences ranging from unlawful possession of cannabis Sativa and frequenting in places where it is sold and consumed.
Police Officer Musa Bandala, who led the team, told this press in an interview that they raided the Kuntolor community in Kissy Mess Mess and succeeded in capturing the fifteen suspects.
In another development, the operations team clamped a number of four persons in a car with registration No ADV 338 on their way to Calaba town. Musa said the four were reported by a passenger on the height at Murialdo junction in the east part of the city after they succeeded in pick-pocketing his sum of Le700,000.
He said the police’s swift intervention brought the suspects to book. All are now helping them in their investigations.
Meanwhile, suspect tools found in the car which include a big generator and crow bar have been taken into custody at the Kissy police station.
