Matrix Group Promotes Sport
A monumental windfall Friday 16th became visible for community members at Grass Field, Lumley as members of the Matrix Group of Companies commenced fencing of the sporting arena.
Handing over twenty-five (25) bags cement and other construction paraphernalia to the Member of Parliament in the Lumley community, Hon. Salamatu Turay, the Director of Matrix Group of Companies, Kojo Brown said however that the fencing of the Grass Field community field is meant to ensure security and ease gate takings.
He noted that the event marks the organization’s intentions in transforming the Lumley community into a residential area.
“Apart from sport, it is our desire to foster amicable co-existence from among people of Lumley,” Kojo said.
He pointed out that his organization is made up of serious and forward looking Sierra Leoneans living in the Diaspora, and who are determined to compliment government’s efforts in speeding up socio-economic development.
“Matrix Group of Companies has supported determined girls with twenty scholarships for the 2011/12 school year”, he continued.
Receiving the offer, Hon. Salamatu Turay chronicled her delight and assured management of Matrix Group of Companies that the donation will be used for its intended purpose.
She classed the organization’s intervention in re-branding the Lumley Community as exemplary, and called on other well meaning Sierra Leoneans to emulate such strides.
The Chairman of occasion, Bernard Momoh Kamara, in his measurement described Matrix Group as focused, forthright and upright.
In his view, he said Grass field which has nurtured football stars is still having an unsecured field; citing Mohamed ‘probosky’ Bangura who plays in the Swedish league as one big example.
In his overview, Jummah Jalloh maintained that as an organization they bank on accountability, Transparency and that they are apolitical.
