Army Lieutenant beats up mother and child
Madam Jorkeh Sesay and her daughter Abioseh Rogers suffered pitiless inhuman and brutal assault at the hands of 2nd Lieutenant SLA 1222 Felix Sorie Conteh.
Lieutenant Felix Sorie Conteh, our investigation states, attacked and physically manhandled Abioseh Rogers and Madam Jorkeh Sesay (the mother) at their residence at Ogoo Lane, thus inflicting grave physical harm on both of them.
It is reported to this press that Lt. Felix Sorie Conteh has had timeless moments arrogantly bragging that nothing will come out of his harsh and cruel conduct against the mother and her daughter.
On 31st July, Abioseh and her mum Jorkeh were in distress over remnants of bean pillages on their door step. As they vent out anguish, the military lieutenant, who virtually was at his premises (next to the apartment of the victims) abruptly came out from his place and without any wait, accused the two of using abusive and odd language in public.
Lieutenant Felix Sorie Conteh straight off began to use even worse and uncalled for words against Jorkeh and her mother.
He then picked up a stick and beat up both the mother and her daughter.
Abioseh and her mother afterwards reported the matter to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), whose investigation is moving at a snail’s pace – practically not yielding any fruit.
It has been told to this press that Lieutenant Felix Sorie Conteh has had a field day dishing out sachets of fish seized from boats during sea patrols to persons having the ability of pursuing his brutal and odd conduct against two vulnerable women.
Humiliating though is the fact that an officer of the Sierra Leone Army who is expected to show respect for the laws of the country has now turned round to take it in his hands nay the brutal beating up of two women with impunity.
The slow pace of the police in their investigation of the complaint against Lieutenant Felix Sorie Conteh has left family members of Abioseh and mother without option, but questioned the credibility of the Sierra Leone Police.
Abioseh and her mother are reportedly having a day at court No. 6 on a private summons from Lawyer Fio Edwards on account of the defaulting Army Lieutenant.
