The 21-year-old has signed a three-year contract.
Although the fee is undisclosed, it is believed to be the highest AIK Solna have received for a player.
“I have joined Bursaspor and I’m delighted about it,” Tetteh Bangura told BBC Sport on Tuesday.
“I had a good time with AIK Solna and I want to thank fellow players, officials and fans of the club.
“This might be the turning point in my career; I hope to continue my scoring form in Turkey and maybe bigger European teams might come my way.”
Tetteh Bangura caught the eye of many clubs around Europe with his goal-scoring exploits at AIK – netting 15 goals in 17 appearances in his debut season.
The Leone Stars hitman only joined AIK Solna in January this year from a Swedish lower league team Köping FF where he scored 12 goals in 11 appearances.
Bursaspor finished third in the Turkish league last season and are competing in the Europa League.
