SWASAL sympathises the death of Leone Stars’ medical aide Rashid Kabia
The Executive and General Membership of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) wish to extend our profound and deepest condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and friends of the late Rashid Kabia, who had his sudden home call in Freetown on Tuesday 26th July 2011 aged 51 years.
The late Rashid Kabia served as a Medical Aide to both the country’s senior national football team Leone Stars and East End Lions FC respectively for nearly a decade.
He was also a Dispenser at the Princess Christiana Maternity Hospital (PCMH) in Freetown.
SWASAL urges all its members to attend the funeral of the late Rashid Kabia first by visiting his residence at 5 Zubiru Street, Wellington, in Freetown, and the Funeral Prayers at the (Masjid Aksa Mosque Rokupar) at 4pm on Thursday July 28 2011.
Interment is at the Kissy Mess Mess Cemetery.
As we lament the sad loss of a dear brother and friend, we pray for another comforter for the wife, children and the immediate relatives and friends at home and abroad.
May Allah in his great mercies grant him Eternal rest and may light shine perpetually on him.
